Jeri Childers conducts research, publishes, presents, and practices in engaging university and community leaders for civic change. Childers created The Engagement Academy for University Leaders that was offered by Virginia Tech's Center for Organizational and Technological Advancement, beginning in June, 2008 and has won awards for its innovation and quality. She continues to expand programs that create positive civic change. This is a unique, executive leadership portfolio is designed to build capacity for institutional and community engagement.
