Monitoring and Measuring Community Engagement
September 12-14, 2012
This unique executive development program is designed for leaders and
teams responsible for developing institutional capacity for monitoring
and measuring community engagement activities. Participants will develop
action plans for capturing data on community engagement and will return
to their campuses with the ability to advance the institutional plan for
engagement as well as effectively link community engagement to the
teaching, research, and service missions of the institution.
Engaging Your University in Regional Economic Development
March 11-13, 2013
In this program university leaders and their community partners will
develop a plan to link their strategic regional development to their
university’s strategic plan. Leaders will receive tools to expand
university-community economic partnerships and strategies to advance
their plans within the university and the region. The program is
designed to foster competency in leading regional transformation that
results in visible, long-term impacts targeted at the needs of both
institution and region.
Engagement Academy for University Leaders
June 3-7, 2013
This unique executive development program is designed for leaders and

engagement. Executives and teams will develop institutional plans for
engagement and will return to their campuses with the ability to advance
the institution's plan for engagement as well as effectively link
community engagement to the teaching, research, and service missions of
the institution.
Fundraising for Engagement

This executive development program combines hands-on planning,
interaction with key leaders in fundraising and engagement and is
designed to build institutional capacity for fundraising for engagement.
Executives or teams will return to their campus with a concrete plan for
fundraising that will elevate the priority of engagement among
institutional fundraising goals.
Preparing for the Carnegie Community Engagement Classification

The 2015 application for the Carnegie Community Engagement
classification provides campuses with the opportunity to develop
institutional capacity for growth and assessment of community
engagement. Individuals and teams will be oriented to the Carnegie
framework, have access to samples of exemplary applications, receive
coaching from faculty and have time to develop plans for accessing and
developing evidence to support an application.
